Fishing trip with Captain Josh of 3/2/2019

The Nature Coast was beautiful today.  A great day for fishing.

My son-in-law Todd was in town.  Bill Lovsin's son Ian was in town too.  Thus, it was a perfect opportunity to fish with Captain Josh Fritz.

We got on the fish today.  After catching a limit of 20 Sea Trout, we changed gears and caught some Redfish and Snook.

Bill really caught some nice fish today.

Todd attempts to get out of the hot sun.

We fished in about two feet of water today.

Ian caught a nice Snook  Josh joins him in the picture.

Bill added a nice Redfish.

With a limit of fish we headed for shore and were met by our feathered friends.

Yes, a great day on the water.

February 7, 2019

Great day on the water.  Calm, warm, and a bunch of fish were caught.  Thanks Dan for letting me take the lead on this trip.  It turned out that we caught our limit of big Sea Trout.

Ron, Chris, Terry, and Gene with the catch, 20 Sea Trout.

Captain Josh had a bunch of fish to clean today.

The fight is on for the fish remains.

Ron holds up the big fish.

The shrimp boats were coming in after a nights work, and the girls were sunbathing in the 80 degree temperatures.

 Great day on the water!

Aripeka Fishing Club trip of February 28 2018

Wow!  What a fishing day.  This was the best Seatrout bite that I have ever seen.  Not much time for pictures.  We loaded the cooler with trout in under an hour.  We got our four fish over 20" and had to throw many more back.  Add in the 16 fish under 20" and it was quite the hour.

We pulled out of Aripeka with a very low tide.

We were greeted by home-owners on the way out.

On the first cast of the day, Jim landed the first trout.

Gene brought in the lone Redfish of the day.

Danny caught a Flounder, not seen too often.

Randy was "Mr. Grouper" having landed quite of few of them today.

Of course, we were greeted by our feathered friends on the way in.
