Great day in Fillman's Bayou

Captain Josh led us back into the Bayou on a cool December day.  Soon we were on the fish.

We had three fish on at one time at one point.  Here is Ron, with bent pole, landing one of the many fish he caught today.

We had Fillman's all to ourselves today.

It was "heads down" when running to and from Fillman's.  Pleasant day indeed, but some wind chill on the return to Aripika.

Our feathered friends always greet us at the dock.

Here we are with our catch of 20 fish, Dan, Tom, Gene, and Ron.  One redfish, caught by Tom, was the big fish.  We had to release 6 sea trout over 20 inches long because we caught our 4 fish over 20 inches early on.  We ran out of live bait so returned to the dock an hour early.  Needless to say, we were on the fish today.
