Aripika Fishing Club - Trip of December 24, 2015

Gene hosted his grandson (Osten) and his two son-in-laws (Brian & Todd) to a fishing trip with Captain Josh.  We had a great time and caught some fish too.

Bob and Jane Johnson hosted friends Joe and Dianne Waugh on a fishing trip out of Aripika.



Under clear skies, Captain Josh took them into Fillman's Bayou.

Aripika Fishing Club trip of December 7, 2015

It was a cool morning at Fillman's Bayou and we were on the fish early.  There was a good Sea Trout bite.  Indeed, we had to return some large Sea Trout to the water after we caught our four fish limit over 20 inches. 

The Sea Trout ran large, but the Redfish ran small and were returned to the water. 

It was good to see that the fish are returning to Fillman's as the Gulf water turns colder.
