Ariipika Fishing Club - October 10, 2016

We kicked off the 2016-2017 this Monday.  This was to be a Grouper trip, however the wind was blowing very strong.  Thus, we went into Fillman's Bayou in search of Redfish.

Captain Josh has made numerous improvements to his boat.  Note the new "wrap", the new motors (trolling and main), etc.

We were greeted by old friends at the dock.

We cruised into Fillman's Bayou, home of eagles, osprey, manatee, and lots of fish species.

Tom caught the first fish of the 2016-2017 season.

Jane, Bob, and Gene brought fish into the boat.  Gene's Redfish was 30" and provided a great fight.  Jane fought a long battle with a big Jack too.
