Aripeka Fishing Club trip of December 13, 2017

It was calm and cold when we left the Aripeka dock.  Then, as we came out of the channel, the wind and the wind-chill lashed us.  So we headed for the shelter of Fillman's Bayou.

Captain Josh quickly put us on the Redfish and Drum.  Here is some of the action.

Harold first.

Jerry caught some nice fish, including this big Redfish.

And he helped round our multi-species stringer, to four species.

Doug brought in several fish, including a nice Drum.

And a couple of Snook.

Gene added some big fish to the cooler.

Yes, we were very cold, but we caught a nice bunch of fish.

Fishing Trip of November 22, 2017

We set out from Aripeka on a warm November day.

We were greeted from a home on the point.

Ron lands a big fish!

Jim has a long, hard battle with a Jack

 Fillman's Bayou became the center for big Redfish action.  We moved in, then each of us caught a big one.  Captain Josh Fritz really put us on the right spot.

The sky darkened as the clouds moved in.  The Sea Trout began to hit.

 Our feathered friends gather near the dock as the fish cleaning begins.

Aripeka Fishing Club Trip of February 11 2017

Doug, Jim, Kent, and Gene set out for Fillman's Bayou, guided by Captain Josh Fritz.

Jim caught the first fish.

Then Kent brought in a nice fish.

Doug caught the big fish, just like last time out.

When we got back to the dock, we were greeted by our feathered friends.
