Aripeka Fishing Club trip of February 28 2018

Wow!  What a fishing day.  This was the best Seatrout bite that I have ever seen.  Not much time for pictures.  We loaded the cooler with trout in under an hour.  We got our four fish over 20" and had to throw many more back.  Add in the 16 fish under 20" and it was quite the hour.

We pulled out of Aripeka with a very low tide.

We were greeted by home-owners on the way out.

On the first cast of the day, Jim landed the first trout.

Gene brought in the lone Redfish of the day.

Danny caught a Flounder, not seen too often.

Randy was "Mr. Grouper" having landed quite of few of them today.

Of course, we were greeted by our feathered friends on the way in.

Great day on the water today.  Clear skies, warm temperatures, and the fish were biting.

We departed from Aripeka for Fillman's Bayou.

Jim started the day with a nice Seatrout.

Randy caught his first, of many, fish.

Jim came back with a nice Redfish.

Fishing Trip of January 31 2018

It was a great trip!  Captain Josh put us on the fish.  We caught Redfish, Seatrout, Drum, Grouper, Sheephead, and more.

The tide was low so we set out from Hernando Beach.

We went out six or seven miles, then stayed at that location for the entire trip.

Doug caught a bunch of nice fish today:

Gene found some big ones too.

Randy and Jim loaded the boat with fish.

The return trip gave us a new perspective on life in the Hernando Beach canals.
